Meet Mrs Vassilyeva, wife of Feodor Vassilyev and mother of 69 children. Yes, you read correctly – the woman who holds the Guinness World Record for most prolific mother EVER, is a Russian woman from Shuya who, in a span of 40 years, had 27 births and 69 children.

Mrs. Vassilyev, who was the first wife of Russian peasant Feodor Vassilyev, was born in 1707 and was a peasant from the third biggest town in Russia known as Shuya. According to official reports, during her confinement, she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.
