The Batcycle, Batblade, or Batpod is the fictional personal motorcycle of the DC Comics superhero Batman. In the comic book universe, Batman's personal Batcycle is a modified street-bike with a 786 cc liquid-cooled V-4 engine. It contains a computer-controlled carburetor and bulletproof wind-guard.

Batman has the Batcycle, Bruce Wayne cruises around on a beat-up café racer [above] when he wants to remain incognito, and Catwoman exclusively travels on two wheels. Her ride is a BMW R nineT that sources tell us was customized by Kaichiroh Kurosu at Cherry’s Company. But the other two, and the Batmobile, were designed by Ash Thorp.

While the original Batmobile was the duo's main mode of transport, other vehicles were created for the series, including the Batboat, Batcopter and the Batcycle. While the first Batcycle was based on a Harley Davidson, it was soon replaced by a new Batcycle, based on a Yamaha Catalina 250.

The Bat-Cycle was the seldom used motorcycle used by Batman and Robin, usually in instances where the Batmobile was not available. The first time this happened was in the season one episode's 'The Penguin Goes Straight/Not Yet, He A'int' where the Penguin has taken ownership of the Batmobile and re-names it his Bird-mobile.
